Advanced Monitoring Services Announces Acquisition of Neurolinks to Expand Services and Reach

Tulsa, OK – October 9, 2020 – Advanced Monitoring Services Holdings, LLC, parent company of Advanced Monitoring Services (AMS) of Springdale, Arkansas announced that it has acquired Neurolinks. Neurolinks is one of the largest providers of intraoperative neuromonitoring and clinical neurodiagnostic services in the Tulsa Metropolitan Area.

The acquisition of Neurolinks brings additional value to our hospital customers and patients by:

  • Expanding the geographic footprint, enabling AMS to serve more patients with high quality, patient-focused intraoperative neuromonitoring care.
  • Improving the services offered to hospital customers and patients in the Tulsa Metropolitan Service Area (MSA) by providing a backbone of administrative, leadership, and staffing support to Neurolinks.
  • Growing service lines for all markets to include a comprehensive, fully integrated neurodiagnostic service for hospital and ambulatory service center customers.

“Since our founding almost 15 years ago, AMS’ focus has been rooted in improving lives— the lives of our people and our patients. Our acquisition of Neurolinks supports that focus by expanding our team of experienced surgical neurophysiologists and neurodiagnostic clinicians so that we can improve the lives of more patients and more team members,” said Brad Vinson CNIM, CEO of AMS. He added, “The key to our success always has been, and always will be, our people. And the people of Neurolinks are precisely the type of people we want in our organization.”

Both companies recognize the synergy of this integration.  AMS’ core focus has been centered on intraoperative neuromonitoring; while a large portion of Neurolinks’ practice has been focused on clinical neurodiagnostic services such as routine electroencephalography (EEG), long-term EEG monitoring, ambulatory EEG, and electromyography (EMG). “In very short order, our customers will see the benefit of AMS and Neurolinks bundling our complementary strengths to better serve patients in their facility.  We believe this to be an opportunity to create unrivaled continuity in outsourced neurodiagnostic care for our hospital customers,” Vinson said.

Prior to its acquisition by AMS, Neurolinks was owned and operated by Janna Cheek, REEGT, CNIM. Cheek stated, “AMS is an ideal acquisition partner for Neurolinks. The character and moral fiber of the AMS team is perfectly aligned with ours, and the strong backbone of strategic, administrative, and staffing support will help us to capture more market share and better serve our customers into the future.  It’s truly a win-win.”
