In-Home EEG (AEEG)
EEG, or electroencephalogram, measures brain wave activity through small electrodes attached to the scalp. EEG data helps physicians diagnose and treat epilepsy, seizure disorders, and other neurological conditions.
AEEG — Ambulatory or In-Home EEG — is a long-term EEG study performed from the patient's home, typically over 3–5 days. The longer recording window captures the data a Routine EEG often cannot — and AMS monitors the study in real time, so the ordering physician stays current on the patient's condition throughout. AMS handles the study end to end: scheduling, hookup, real-time monitoring, read, and final report.
